Cucurbita Maxima 'Jack O'Lantern'

While "helping" hammock this pumpkin, my spouse moved the fruit a little too aggressively and it snapped off the vine. I'm growing pumpkins in 18 gal bucket. This was the only one on the vine. There's 2 other vines in the same bucket. Should I pull out the vine it came from as it has no other male flowers or fruit on it and let the other vines thrive? #planthelp #pumpkin-advice #pumpkin-trellis

Does anyone know why the plants on the other pumpkin plant are all dark green and these are light lime green? #plantadvice #planthelp

Anyone else trellising pumpkins? I have 5 hammocking in nylon, so far. It's been alot of fun watching such a vigorous grower change week to week. Very rewarding for a novice gardener.

I've seen the bees around, and I'm anxious to see if they've been pollinated!

The fruit is now at least an inch long.

My Jack o Lantern pumpkin continues to drop its flowers in anticipation of the female flowers opening.
