Can you please help me identify this plant? Loads of red berries in early spring and thick evergreen foliage...

Does it have flowers? I'm not sure if I'm correct but it looks like a Japanese Laurel (Aucuba japonica) I have one in my plants in the garden, if you have a look maybe it is this @leighmanorfarm

it definitely looks like Japanese Laurel, but there are no flowers or buds, it's as big as a tree and most of the berries have all gone now... not sure if that proves or disproves!? thanks for your help!

I think it disproves as mine is a shrub. Sorry I couldn't help🙂

I'm pretty sure it is a variety of non prickly Holly @leighmanorfarm

success! it works! hurrah! thank you so much. there's actually another holly type thing growing around the bottom of this which has some lovely colouring and some interesting looking buds on it right now so I'll take some photos of that as well. thanks again - a great introduction to GardenTags. I have a few other unidentified plants around the farm that I'll add over the next few months as they come in to bloom.
