Blue Ginger features - leaf, stalk, flower. @maa this is my blue ginger which is planted outside in sheltered position.

Hmm it really does look alike! I inherited this one, it's potted and used to stand on balcony, and I don't remember it ever having flowers - but it could be because of its position, I guess. I noticed that it likes water, because one sprout is living in a glass of water for a few weeks now and looks ready to be potted. However, the main plant has frozen a few days ago, so I was looking for ways to trim it, but needed help identifying it first. Thank you so much!

@maa realising your growing conditions most likely very different to mine (Australia sub tropical) plants can sometimes demonstrate different characteristics so can be hard to identify plants. Good luck
