Hosta sieboldiana var. elegans syn. Hosta glauca, Hosta 'Elegans'

18 days after I first noticed it had germinated it's still tiny. It's sitting in a south facing window and I'm keeping the soil damp. Any ideas as to what I need to do to get it growing... Or do these just grow very slowly (it took 2months to germinate). #advice-needed #advice #hosta #plantainlily

I'm going to say they're probably slow. I'll bet it's creating a pretty expansive root structure right now. 😉

Can you see that teeny tiny spot of green? That is the sign of unexpected success! Almost 2 months ago I planted these seeds and had pretty much decided they weren't going to germinate... And then this appeared! Couldn't believe my eyes 😁 #success #germinating #hosta #surprise

Well done you for perseverance! Not quick to germinate, but now just watch and wait 😁
