Dracaena marginata

Help me identify this plant. I think it’s a type of cordyline. Found the main plant also chucked out in the street. People seem to be throwing all their plants out when they get too leggy. Anyway their loss my gain. Will have a go at rooting this one now 😆

Thanks @debrascott. The stalk was huge with just these few leaves on top. Someone obviously thought that the plant had had it. Should I try and root it first or just pot it up now

It looks like a dracena. I just bought one the leaves and stem look just like it (perhaps a bit less munched on 😂) Perhaps it was too tall to keep indoors.

Yes. My book says they are easily confused Whoever had it should have cut it back when it got so enormous
