I found problem growing my own leeks.. My garden helper said that I gave too much water to them.. How is the best way to watering leeks?

#graceunike it is always better to water lots occasionally rather than little and often give them lots of water once a week that way they will root deeper watering little and often will encourage shallow rooting wich is not good am for about 1 inch of water every 1 square metre this goes for all veg
