1.12.18 this is the sad plant jake insisted i buy in order to rescue. pretty much ALL of this is new growth. beheaded it about a week ago, put it in the soil a couple days ago. crossing my fingers! i am nervous! the stems are still there (to the right) in case babies pop up

11.2.17 my boyfriend insisted i get this sad plant so i can save it. it does seem to have a lot of potential if it doesn't die first! honestly looking at it is stressing me out 😬

If the roots are fine I’m sure it will be ok.

Yeah honestly if you don’t mind the leggy look you can keep it but you could also behead it and have some shorter more compact growth at the top and have it put out new roots on the cutting and new heads from the base!

@veepaisal @erichbubig thanks both of you for your input! the roots are fine so i feel hopeful about it. i do think i'll behead it after i see some growth happening.
