Forsythia x intermedia 'Spectabilis'

These guys sure have a short dormancy period, I brought them in on January 1st and they're blooming like crazy! #forsythia #breakingdormancy

My mom had a kind of wild hedge made with these. After she passed,our new neighbors dug them all up with out asking because I was/am too ill to keep the beds clean and trimmed. I am still mad and this was at least 3 years ago!😠😤

Sorry to hear that.. maybe you can find some branches in the wild to propagate or to force them to bloom
