Cereus repandus syn. Cereus peruvianus

This is the set up I used for #propagation of cactus seeds. I used regular potting mix and dampened it. The #reused food containers have no holes in them. I left them to get mid-to-late-afternoon sun. I left them (other than peaking) until the little cactus were at least 1/4" tall, then potted them out. #southerncalifornia #recycle-renew-reuse #recycle 15 May 2021

These little seedlings are about 1/4" now. I grew them from seeds from the fruit my adult #Cereus repandus produced. These are the first #cactus I ever grew from seed. #success #grownfromseed Seeds were put into a plastic tub of potting mix just dampened. Then a lid sealed it up and left on the sun. They sprouted after a long while. #southerncalifornia 30/01/2020
