Did something drip onto it?

If this were on an oak leaf I would say it was black tar fungus but IDK if that ever affects plants like these.

That is what I thought at first too, @heatherdirtyhands. But it is not that. 🤔

It does have similar properties to this fungus, @emch 🤔. Maybe fungus the road I should look down. Thank you!

@cyndi, I scratched at the spots and they are under the "skin" of the leaf. Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it. 💕
