A beautiful flower on this #Echeveria setosa. #echeveriasetosa #succulentflower #collage #southerncalifornia 10 July 2019

That is a beautiful flower...none of my succulents have ever flowered for me

@mardel don't be discouraged. My succulents bloom a lot because of the sun they get. @KariSamuel has also said her plants don't bloom because of her weather. We all have different zones and must enjoy some plants through others. π π€

Oh Sweetheart... @mardel, as Janice has said, most of *our* succulents will never see blooms, as it is impossible with our very different growing seasons! In fact, I have had blooms on only 3 of my many, many, MANY succulents! Three! That's it. Most succulents need a long, continuous, warm growing season. It just can't happen when we have temps that dip below 55Β°F... it is just our luck! π₯° One reason I love Gtags so stinking much is that we can live vicariously through others! π

Me too @KariSamuel. My warmth keeps me from plants I love too. I do vicariously enjoy so many on here though. π

@KariSamuel @lovestogarden Thank you ladies...I love living through other eyes.

Sadly I over watered this lady. I am happy to say that by unearthing her, drying her out for a long time and decapitating her, she seems to have survived (π). The head on the left has made roots and there is new growth starting on the original stem, on the right. I am so happy. #succulent #overwatered #succulentadvice #mexicanfirecracker #echeveria #echeveria-mexicanfirecracker #echeveriasetosa #echeveria-setosa #southerncalifornia #california 30 August 2018

If we didn't know you are talking plants, someone might be concerned about that statement....? ππ I'm very happy for you, I think...

π yep. Totally understandable! πππ @lesliecole49

Winning !!

They sure do want to live. Rot can happen so fast with succulents, but if u catch it in time, not only do you avert disaster, as a thank you, you get a bonus plant. #andthentherewere2

Wait, @gjones! It has never turned red! It has always looked like this. Do I have it labeled wrong? L

That is a nice way to think of it @sherrisgarden and @haleyt901! β€οΈπ

Help me identify this plant, please. #succulent #plantid #succulentid #fuzzy @Soph1e @Muzz67 any idea?

Ooh I just wanna cuddle up to this one!

The only one I know like that Janice, is pussy ears (kalanchoe tomentosa).

Looks like my Echeveria Doris Taylor, I call it tarantula fuzz lol

Or echeveria setosa, I'm not sure on how to tell the 2 apart yet.

Looks more like Doris Taylor to me. Setosa isnβt that fuzzy.

I'd go with either E. pulvinata or Doris Taylor @lovestogarden. It's a beautiful plant.

I think maybe Echeveria Setosa .Look here www.crassulaceae.ch/de/artikel?akID=48&aaID=2&aiID=S&aID=1914

I agree with Echeveria. Would like to see a side on.

Thank you all so very much with your help on the identity! I would have wanted to cuddle up to this one too, Eva, but then @Soja412 mentioned π· and, YIKES, it is! π± π@llamadrama @buzz40 @Yollymac @marlynroses @veepaisal @Soph1e @Muzz67

π· but it's not one! so it's safe for a little cuddling haha
