Yes, @columbiariver I found that log at the beach after our fire. Quite a bit of burned #driftwood was washed up. Thank you. ❤️

Yes, @columbiariver, there is a lot of rebuilding going on in the burn areas. Some have opted to not rebuild and just sell the land as is. Others have complained about the red tape issues, so the building is going quite slow. The burned driftwood was actually burned in the hills and was pushed with the mud/water/debris down to the ocean when we had the rain afterwards, without any vegetation to slow or stop it. All of California's waterways lead to the ocean. Continued...
@columbiariver ...continued.... In some areas, further up the coast, the fire did burn to the sand, but very little. The great work of the firefighters kept it from the houses and having a great deal along the coast, they worked hard to keep it from crossing the highway. Hope this was not TMI...❤️😊
