Are they pretty hardy?? I really want one even though they only bloom in spring here. Did you train it as it grew. Same spot. No rush on any good advice especially sunlight.

@terrimclaughlin this one was hardy with our drought. It usually only blooms in the Spring here too. I did not train it as it grew, it just balled up on itself and I just unwound it this week and I decided to hang it properly. It had quite a bit of deadwood, as I had never trimmed it before. I planted it here about ten years ago. It gets about 8 hours of sun a day. It has never bloomed profusely, but not sure if it is the variety or my treatment of it.

Continued: I am hoping this new hanging, trimming of it helps it do better. Hope this helps. @terrimclaughlin
