While trimming this #Opuntia-cochenillifera, TIMMMMBERRRRR! Top heavy and too much water. I will be using one piece to start a new plant -- in a pot. So many #thorns in me and not even fully picked up. 😣 #opuntia #cactus #damage #southerncalifornia 18 September 2020 😷😣💓

I love how bright these flowers are. Are these edible cacti? I know that there's a type of cactus that bear edible sweet fruit.
