@terrimclaughlin as you can see, mine is hanging down and is unbothered by that. Keep adjusting sun/water to get your #succulent happy. ❤
@lovestogarden thxs for the advice about the cactus. I had it outside in early morning (spring) sun..it started blooming but then I thought someone had said they don’t like heat so I brought it in. Do u think it can handle all-day outside shade??
I have the orchid cactus gifted to me from @Hannahcristine it’s outside and seems to b doing good like u said I just need to find it’s happy place.😊💕
@terrimclaughlin I would not do all shade as they like some sunshine. If they start to bloom and you move them, they can drop the blooms. You can put them among your plants and they get sun off and on through the day. You will probably have to try some spots as your heat/sun is different than mine. If they were happy to bloom for you, they may like that spot. ❤
I’m going to try to put them back there. Have a great day!!😊💕
Thank you @terrimclaughlin. I did. I hope your day was great too. ❤

Help me identify this plant #plantid Which one is this again?
If its blooming now it should be an Easter cactus @lovestogarden

Christmas cactus 😊beautiful
Easter. The chart is on my timeline still #christmasorthanksgivingoreastercactus
So here is the deal, I have Dar's chart saved, so I looked at it. The plant looks to me like an Easter (Rhipsalidopsis), but the flower does not. @toddbrandino @brightcolours @karmey @SikoMa
You definitely have a good point Janice. Now I gotta go talk to Mr. Google and see what's up🤔🤔🤔🤔
Possibly hybrid?
It called a few names Janice #christmascatus #eastercactus #crabclawcactus botanically known as schlumbergera @lovestogarden @SikoMa 😊
I stand corrected 😯 Easter cactus is a rhipsalidopsis Janice like you said 😬@lovestogarden
Here is an interesting link Janice.... http://www.ourhouseplants.com/plants/christmascactus
Dar, that is an interesting article. The 'subtle' difference is so true! @SikoMa

Wow that’s fantastic Janice 💖
Family heirloom doesn't get any better than that . Beautiful photo with sun coming through. 😍😍
So pretty.
What a treasure that is! How big is it?
@lovestogarden My Mum has the same family heirloom from my late Granny. I just wish I could get mine to flower. 💗🙏🏼
That's amazing 😊💗
Thank you @juliesgarden @sherrisgarden @novicegardenlover
@lesliecole49 this plant is just one of the many propagated from the original. This particular one is in a 12" x 8" hanging pot.
@pixierose that is great. Give it some plant food and then stress it after a month or so. It is worth a try.
Thank you @anges
Yes @dirtgirlworld - great tag 😁
