A broken piece of #sedum I picked up while in #sanfrancisco 's Union Square. Why would someone break it off and leave it? #succulent 03/22/2018
Most likely a child, something I did as a very small child was break of tops of plants til my mom broke me.🤗
Yep, my gain. So, sweet you are, Laura. ❤ @columbiariver
Michelle, you are probably correct. A lot of children do that, don't they? @purplebird
Yes I am afraid there is something about plants that children like to tear off pieces and they have to be taught to respect plants or they keep doing it. As my mom had houseplants all over, multiple flower beds and a huge vegetable garden plus we camped all the time, I had to learn to keep my hands off. With my small grandchildren I will start acting like I am the plant's voice crying out in pain when they touch one. Then I tell them it hurts the plant for them to touch it. It helped.🤗
There is an idea, Michelle. Like a live cartoon. @purplebird
Maybe an ice plant?
This started as a tiny broken piece I found in San Francisco and now has grown huge and is blooming. 🤯 #sedum #sedum-rupestre-angelina #blooming #update #southerncalifornia 4 May 2020🧤😷
I love this, looks so tactile
Thank you @cyndi and @thehardygardener
So pretty. Mine has grown ten fold in size from planting a 2 inch size pot of it last January. Have yet to see it bloom.
