@mich , yes, very different. My Godmother had the mother plant of this and my other stapellia. She did not like the flowers, so would pinch off the blossom before they would open! I, however, love the flowers. My Godmother loved bright and beautiful flowers with a sweet scent.

No, @carolgs, I have the plant I got as cuttings. I am unaware if they have seeds, as I have never seen them. My boys do love them too...their strangeness draws the boys. ❤️
