Stenotaphrum secundatum or St. Augustine #grass is #invasive now in #California. They have grown it in our region as #sod for a VERY long time, but it escaped and now we all fight it. It took over my back lawn, so as I remove it, I fight it continually. It has long runners (top right), has invaded my #dymondia with this last rain, yet, I will win! #southerncalifornia #Stenotaphrum-secundatum #StAugustine 12 December 2018

Top right...carpet grass grows very well in Texas sends out like feeders you can put a square 6 inches by six and leave an empty space about 3-4 inches and the carpet grass will fill the empty spot. I like carpet grass it grows nice and thick it’ll grows well once established. Just read on the grass. We also have Bermuda grass a very nice thin soft grass but very fragile. Anyway not sure what the question was but I shared alittle lol 🎄⛄️
