I moved into my house in December last year. I have been trying to get on top of the garden. I am trying to identify many of the plants.

I moved into this house December so discovering new plants all the time. This is growing out of the bottom of what was a pond. Is it something to be kept?

Welcome to Gtags! If you tap on the name of the plant, you will have all the information you need. For me, I pull this out and count it as a weed... it self seeds readily and is on my noxious list of no no plants to keep. Enjoy your journey with us!

It has an unusual flower spike Lucy .......I would keep it and see how it develops for the moment :))

Welcome to GT Lucy ☺ I'm with @flof1952 and would keep it...a weed is only an unwanted flower and if you like it you could always prevent it from self seeding.
