Also, cut it back when it's finished flowering and you may be lucky getting it to bloom again next year. I managed that with a few last year then dug it up and gave it to @elsie who had flowers on it this year too 😄
Thus ine is an annual its hard to belive i know but look it up on rhs website only came out resently some time it won and rhs merit award this year partly because it is an anual this year. I try the cutting it back trick.

No this one is an annual i ended up looking it up. Almost all other foxgloves are biannual but there is also one verity that is perenial
All foxgloves are biennial or classed as short lived perennial. Save some seeds and see if you can get another few true plants from them 😊
