Getting excited for the flower to open. No idea why the old leafs haven't died back. #succulentsunday

So pretty 🤗

Thank you @godfreye

Don't think I've ever seen one of these flower before 👍👍

I will post a photo when it opens completely Jeff @jeatacake there quite a weird plant really

They certainly are! Cheers Lydia 👍

It takes months for old leaves to dry up. I have one of this variey and the old leaves have stuck around for over a year. Maybe karasmontanas are just stubborn. #lithopskarasmontana

That could well be it @sushiwaitress the other are all fine and the old leafs have dried up. Its good to know that it just happens some times. This the only one thats flowering.

First and hopefully not the last flower bud forming on my living stones

Niiiiice!!! #alltheredlithops

Thanks @sushiwaitress I'm hoping the rest will also flower and my living rock. My blue bird has a second flower bud on it and my blue mist has 2 flower buds on it. I'm hoping for a good show from them.

@lydiastirling How long do they flower for? 🌼

Im not sure the other one was about 2 weeksish but this is the first time ive had them and them flowe @sushiwaitress can you help answer @anges question

Thank you @katgreen

Very sweet little flowers Lydia 😍😍

Lovely 😀

Thank you @pelly and @bandicoot

Yeah @lydiastirling and @anges they last about a week or two. If those are two different plants (vs one 2-headed plant) you could try pollinating.

Im not sure @sushiwaitress i think uit might be 1 plant with 2 heads but i dont want to check till they go into there winter stage.

@sushiwaitress Thanks Ruth 🌸

Verry pretty I haven't heard of leaving stones before

@jeatacake Jeff as promised the flower is open. It being a sunny day has really helped. #succulent #succulentflowers
Thanks Lydia. It's beautiful 🤍 A bit like a sea anemone. The petals look like silk 👍
I hadn't thought about it like that being @jeatacake it really does.
