First 4 tomarto seedlings have come out of the propagater as they have got to tall for it and been moved under the orchids grow light in the Dinningroom they are blue bayou and snow white tomatoes
Wow. They look great.
Thank you @charlotte im hoping I will get a good crop this year. I didnt get to try the snow white tomatoes last year as the weather turned and the storms set in brining blight with it. So ive got my fingers crossed for them.

#gyo blue bayou tomato 🍅 not quite as purple / black on the inside as the inside as I hoped but they taste delicious. The more ripe the more purple the the inner bit is. Hoping for more sun as I don't think these are getting enough sun to turn completely purple / black. @jeatacake
Interesting! Mine are starting to grow well now so I'm still hopeful of some late tomatoes from them 🤞🍅

Blue bayou tomatoes not quite ripe but had one earlier in the week which was delicious #gyo @jeatacake
That's great 👍 Is the flesh inside dark too? My seedlings have been potted on again but not growing as fast as I'd hoped 😏
@jeatacake Jeff it's an odd mix of dark red and the purple black. I will post a photo of one of them cut open once these are compleatly ripe. I hope it starts growing quicker for you.
Cheers Lydia. That'd be interesting to see 👍 I think mine need another decent but prolonged hot spell to get them going!
Quite possibly. The seeds I got from you need the same. @jeatacake
Need a lot of luck with such a late start! 😏

Blue bayou doing really well. Had my first one earlier in the week. Was delicious with lots of flavour. #gyo #blacktomato
Interesting color 👍👍👍
Wow!nice colour
I can save you some seeds if you like @buzzygems it isnt an F1 hybrid so they should come true.
Pls do,will love to try this although tomatoes dont like me @lydiastirling
I have a bit of an issue with tomatoes as to @bussygems . I get a mild allergic reaction to them. Which is why I'm trying different coloured one ti see if it's better. I've also got orange, yellow and white (well cream) ones. I can try and save seeds from them as well if they arnt F1 hybrids
They're looking great 🖤 Mine not so much. Will be a miracle if I get any tomatoes on them, but they'll have more time next year 👍
🤞you do get some tomatoes Jeff @jeatacake
Thanks Lydia. Still got at least 3 months growing season left, so you never know 🤞

Tomatoe snow berry planted out this morning with alyssum and night scented stocks as companion plants to encourage visits by bumble bees. #gyo
@jeatacake Jeff you can see how Pale the plant is for the snow berry tomatoes. Next to the blue bayou it looks even paler
It certainly is pale. I've just googled them & they are a pale yellow in most of the images. Just a bit lighter than Sunbaby.
@jeatacake it will be interesting to see how these do. From the photos I've seen they look more like a pale yellow to cream than white.
I agree. I'll await your taste test results before I rush to get any. Definitely tempted by the black ones 👍
@jeatacake jeff the black ones are looking good. I have read that they take awhile to ripen. When I checked on chiltern seeds sight the photo they have they are dark purple to black, and have good reviews on the taste.
Sounds very promising. I heard that the black ones have more of the chemical in them that's supposed to be really good for you 👍
I have to admit @jeatacake jeff part if the reason I'm trying so many different coloured tomatoes is because I have a allergy issue to oxidized tomatoes particularly sauces. But I love them so im trying to find ones that maybe i have less of an issue with. I'm wondering if it's the red colour as i have the same issue with beetroot.
Sun gold (orange) & sun baby (yellow) could be worth a try? Both are very tasty. I keep seeds from all my varieties from one year to another, so if you fancy trying those, I can send you some seeds 👍
Yes please @jeatacake jeff. I will safe you blue bayou and snow berry seeds if you like for a swap.
That sounds just perfect 😊 If I give you my email address, you can send your address & I'll post them off to you tomorrow all being well. Still, time to start some off 👍 OK, its:- voso1959@gmail.com
@jeatacake I've sent you an email

Tomatoe bluebayo first fruit doing well. Lots more flowers on the 2 plants. 😃 #gyo
Wawo... I saw this for the first time...! 😰
@jeatacake jeff I got the seeds from chiltern seed
I must get some for next year. All other black ones I've tried never turn black, but with this it looks like it's no problem! 👍🖤
It is looking very dark. I will post more photos as it ripens and tag you in them so you can see. It's the first time I've tryed to grow it.
Its amazing. Even the stem looks quite dark! Thank you 😊👍
@jeatacake jeff it is. Even when it came up as a seedling it was very dark
I've tried 3:- Black Russian, The Darkest & Black Krim. None got black at all! 🙄 They may need heat & strong sunlight when ripening, unlike yours! 👌
That's a possibility. I did consider black russian not sure why I opted for this one. But glad I did

2out door dwarf bush cherry tomato plants i was given this week but cant remember the name of. Ive planted them out as they have been grown outdoors. Aprently they are very bight resistant. Im hoping i will get tomartos this year as they all got blight last year
Tomato blue bayou. I seem to have fruit on at least one tomato plants quite a few of the others have flowers. These are all in my south facing window. I havent been able to move them to the lean-to to harden off for lack of space so there going to wait and go straight in the greenhouse after frost risk is gone in a few weeks.
Wow, mine are still small plants, well done you 🍅🍅🍅
@pelly thank you. I have to admit its a bit of a cheat as these were planted in January but there are a few smaller ones i managed to squeeze into my lean-to to harden off. I hope yours catch up soon.
I'm sure they will thanks. Mine have been in the greenhouse for quite a while so they've not been kept as warm as yours 🍅
Wow . They are amazing. Mine are still tiny and still in the lounge.
Thank you @charlotte
