Having been bought up on a farm I love the outdoors. The small garden we have now at our first mortgaged house was just overgrown grass when we moved

Apparently the sparrows are trying to eat the flax seeds. #sparrow #flax #wildlife

Loads of flower spikes this year. We had just one last and none the two years previous.

It's sprung a flower, first in the three years we've been here.

A leaf close up to hopefully help with identifying it.

Thanks Mike, just been through some on the discover option and yes I think once more you are spot on. I hope you are having a lovely evening in the sunshine.

Help me identify this plant, I think this could be pampas grass (a little Montbretia mixed in) again no flowers witnessed in the three years. It's hight has remained relatively the same and width controlled by a little cutting back.
