02/09/18 I wish I had taken a photo of this agave before I put it in #pumicetherapy. The only #roots this plant had were the tiny brown crisps near the base. I've had it potted in pure #pumice for 1-2 months and all of this is new #rootgrowth, I'll be potting it into my normal mix now #thepowerofpumice

29/08/19 this #agave has lost its purple colour but is looking a lot happier, currently in pure pumice for #pumicetherapy I had a peek today and there is definitely a big root so ready to go back into normal mix soon

27/04/18 This guy was looking a bit underwatered and while I was looking at him the whole plant tipped out of the pot. It was planted in quite good substrate but what I hadn't seen was it had been taken from a small "plug" and was root bound within that small cube of soil. I have trimmed the roots and planted in Terracotta so that I can water regularly to stimulate root growth without rot
