@MadKatrina so they are plastic pots then? It clearly does not affect the lithops. 👍🏻👍🏻

@kylers yes, but there are slits in the sides which allow the potting mix to dry quickly

@MadKatrina, I can see the slits now that you point them out, what a great set up. What type of potting mix are you using?

@kylers mainly pumice but with Maybe 5% organic matter and some grit. It's been a while since I've mixed it so I'm not sure what proportions

22/10/18 fairly decent roots on this #lithops given the conditions in the garden centre. He's got alot of battle scars though!

22/10/18 treated myself to a new Lithops today, need to up the proportion of green in my collection. The lithops in my local garden centre are generally so badly treated they are 5cm tall above the soil level. Thankfully this one doesn't look quite that bad
