Can't figure out what is wrong with this plant. The soil is extremely dry but when I watered it, the leaves started to soften up like this. Please help.
It could have suffered from root rot from overwatering then dried out and u figured it needed water because it was dry but really the roots are ruined from previous over water. I would check the roots and look for black squishy roots but if they lool healthy it could be a lighting issue. U could always take it out of the dirt and put it in water for some hydrotherapy....especially if the roots are bad and I need to cut them and start over
