I just relocated to Southern Indiana from Southern California, where I have 5 acres of woods and a smaller bit of landscapable dirt around the house.

Help me identify this plant. I bought it as a seedling in May from someone who said it was a trumpet flower. It finally bloomed, but the blossom only lasted one day. It was magnificent, but so short lived. The second bud got eaten, I guess, cuz it was there one day and gone the next before it had a chance to bloom.
