Does anyone know if it's normal for the newer growth to be less colorful than the older growth? Or do I need to change something to get more color? 🤔

The new leaves colors will change with the exposure to sunlight. The colors very from season to season. If you keep them inside with no direct sunlight they will stay mostly green and tend to loose leaves more so than outside. They don’t like to be moved they will also loose leaves. Summer you get more yellow leaves spring and fall red leaves winter green . Yours is a banana croton I don’t know if the leaves will get any red though.
