They're best treated as annuals I think. They self seed a bit too if you let them dry out in situ.

@markdavidson59 I have had mine in the garden for three years now, and they come up each year. In fact last year they didn’t really die. So yes collect seeds but leave them in situ to see what happens and keep us updated.

That’s interesting @suerichards thank you for sharing. I would have pulled mine up but will leave then now and see what happens.
