Delphinium 'Astolat'

My delphinium is looking very sad. Not quite sure what variety it is. The flowers all fell off the tall stem. Should I cut it down now? I'm feeding twice a week

Please give me any advise at all, I'm a complete beginner, there will be lots more photos like this one, of plants that die on me. As I have a bit more time on my hands now I would like to get to know what I am planting and how to look after them. I would like to have a blooming good garden by next summer 💐
