Just popping their heads above the ground

#iris-advice on the notes on the app it says to plant these on the autumn.. however the packet says it can be planted until May... which is right?

Ah how do I work it out please? I live in Manchester 🇬🇧 soil is pretty much clay ... but putting some manure on it at present and trying to improve it @cyndi

@Mary200631 @cyndi I wish I could help but I’ve only ever known them be planted in autumn. I may be very wrong but I know when you lift them they’re to be stored in a cool, dry place over summer so I’d suggest that and then put them in the ground in autumn 😊

@cyndi no problem 😊 I’m not much help but did read they are lifted in summer (not that I do that 🤣) so figure it will work the same for new bulbs too 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ve put some in the ground and some in containers.. kept some out altogether.. so see what happens lol
