Lilium 'Blushing Joy'

If like me you have been plagued by #lilybeetle this year. Worth having a close look to see whats going on on your #lilyleaves little sacks of squishy feeling and looking poo drops on your leaves are #larvae and worth getting rid of. To help minimise those pesky beetles next year! I cut off each leaf where I could easily scrape the little critters off. Took some time but hopefully I've eradicated a few this afternoon #lilyadvice

5 found today! 4 captured and not released. #lilybeetle 1 squished on sight. Hopefully stop the chances of more beetles as this 4 got caught getting jiggy 😂

@sieveheadsarah Yep I know it's very strange did I bury the bulb too low like about a foot lol

A foot??? 😂😂 supposed to be three times as deep as the height of the bulb.

@sieveheadsarah they are about 4 inches deep or so as I remember. Not sure why they are so short was definitely expecting a lot more #foliage

Will be interesting to see how they grow next year.
