I've put mammillari in,and it's come up the whole name,don't know how to change it !

When it's dry you can water once a week just a little when it's hot a lot more keep an eye on the base of the stem if it looks soft to touch that's rotting .

You can water it top or bottom I'd start at the bottom.

Help me identify this plant ? Haven't a clue...apart from a cactus of some sort....??? Got given this when a friend moved away. I repotted it today.not sure what's going on...😱

It looks similar to one I inherited, but don't know the name of it. Let me think who might know.
