Syn. Colocasia antiquorum "imperial taro". Syn. Colocasia var illustris. The three (if you don't include the dead, crispy leaf at the bottom 🙈) leaf phases of this elephant ear. This is a marginal plant that loves being wet and can be grown along pond edges. It does well in partial shade, but sun exposure will enhance the darker colour on leaves
