You can get seed quite easily from garden centres etc. I hrew these from seed myself for my client. He also obtained some plants from a nursery in scotland. I shall enquire for you and get back to you as soon as i can @mike1001
@melvynprentice - I love these! I've had bad luck so far getting them to come back 😞 I've heard somewhere that some of them die off after flowering? I just wondered if you might be able to shed some light on it for me? Thanks in advance 😀
It is true that they are best treated as a biennial (same as foxgloves etc ) where i am in north essex it is quite difficult to grow them without a lot of effort. Although the clients garden soil is acidic in places what we lack in general is rainfall.@nikla
Meconopsis betonicifolia. Looking lovely at the weekend at a clients garden. Hope they have survived todays seriously unseasonal strong winds.
Great pictures @melvynprentice and gorgeous flowers 👍
Do you know where I could aquire some of those?
Love the colour. Mine are not flowering yet but plenty buds
I believe you are much further north than me. Thats something to look forward to@peter-w 😊
