I never used to be a garden lover. Especially flowers of any kind, until I lost my mother. Now I can't seem to leave the garden.. Love gardening.

Hi Kelly. I agree with @cyndi. The branches and leaves look like plumeria. I have a white variety, but mine isn't scented unfortunately. I'll tag you in a photo.

Hello 👋🏼😊 - This looks more like an Edgeworthia (which is very fragrant) - Whilst quite similar in appearance from the stems and bark, I doubt it’s a Frangipani if it’s been growing outdoors in the UK as that is a tropical plant really. Frangipani’s tend to be grown only as houseplants or in conservatories in the U.K. 👍🏼 @cyndi @novicegardenlover @mickelly2007

I think it’s quite slow growing. I know it prefers acidic soil so if you do put it in a pot might be best to use ericaceous soil 😊👍🏼

Thank you @anne8691 . Would I be able to take a cutting from it when it establishes it self. ?

I’m afraid I can’t tell what it is from the picture but the fact it’s highly scented suggests maybe a daphne? It isn’t a wisteria. Isn’t that a label hiding at the bottom?? 🤔😂 PS Welcome to GT 😊

When it was flowering were the flowers yellow? I think it could be #edgeworthia - have a look on the images from the # and see if they match. Look up through the plant encyclopaedia to see if there’s any advice on cuttings...I have one but it’s new so no idea! Hope this helps 🤓

I think Edgeworthia. Not easy to root from cuttings.
