Gladiolus 'Black Jack'

Late growing but they are the blackish purple ones. I wasnt going to plant them this year but my boyfriend threw the bulbs in the fire pit because he thought they were old onions. I saw them just in time and they were already sprouting so I planted them about 6 days ago

@laketitlow my landlord told me to pull up the "weeds" because they weren't eye appealing looking at tall grass and when tried to re-home them in a flower pot the flower pot got mysteriously knocked off my porch and everything got scattered so these never had a chance this year but there's always next year!!!

Ohh no. Next year will work. Landlord said pull out the weeds. Geez. Everything could be a "weed" except the grass.
