There must be many species of it? @jeatace @highcliffeplants just that I have a Cotoneaster and the other one is upright rather than spead on ground level 😑

@jeatacake @highcliffeplants You're right Jeff. I've just seen one of Sylvia Davies Cotoneaster and while her's is an established one, it looks very similar. Thank you. Knowing this I better move it again as it's very little room to grow. It will have to go to my border. Garden Centre trip this week woohoo! Heaven knows what I'll come home with I've got plans 😉

I would think there are many types & in all likelihood, it was a "gift" from the birds! I had one mysteriously appear at my old house & that was a low growing one too. I daren't go to garden centres at the moment as I know I have no space at all now & too many things in pots & tubs! 😖

I know what you mean @jeatacake but I can work on demoting a certain plant. Well I used to. I've decided the Ceanothus will stay. There's a lot of healthy growth on it now so it's not right to force it out 😊

Glad to hear it. It's worth another chance & all this year's growth should produce good flowers next year 💙💙💙
