Papaver orientale 'Brilliant'

Four poppies out! The most so far at the same time 😊several more to burst from their 'pods' do we call them?

Lovely bright colour. Mines waiting for a sunny day ..hopefully tomorrow

@rockandy Any sign of a poppy yet Andy? A tip I learned from good old Monty Don, is to spray the pods with water. I did this and it worked, I'd been waiting ages for any sign of a flower, all I had was nettle like leaves! Then the pods came, then Monty's tip spurred me into action! Out came the spray and hey result!😄Hope yours arrive soon 🌝🌝

That's interesting. I will try that tomorrow. Thanks. Weather should be good to encourage them out and enjoy them because they don't last long
