Cistus x purpureus 'Betty Taudevin'

Love Cistus flowers, but not a huge fan of the shrub as it tends to get a bit woody. Is it just me?

I agree! I've had mine a few years now and although I love the flowers it has become a bit woody. I'll be moving mine a bit further back in the borders this year.

I never manage to keep them more than about three years. Too cold here! I usually take cuttings so they keep on coming
