Heuchera 'Marmalade'

A rather rain-swept Heuchera 'Marmalade'. Must say I love Heucheras, but the lighter coloured ones, like Marmalade are prone to Heuchera rust. The darker burgundies aren't so susceptible.

I love this. I have many Heucheras , and this is one of my favourites. Funnily enough, the worst ones for rust here are the greens and the pinks.

@mikethegardener gorgeous Heuchera , one of my marmalade has signs of rust, have cut of all effected leaves . Do you think I should do anything else ? 🙁

@lovemygarden65 hi Marilyn, it is said that providing good air circulation around susceptible Heucheras helps. Pulling off affected leaves as you have done will help to reduce spread. I still maintain, however, that buying more resistant varieties has to be the best option. There are some great Heuchera specialists online who you could contact. Heucheraholics is a good one😊😊
