Hosta 'Minuteman'

Love Hostas, but especially so when they first emerge. Any Hosta-holics out there...?

I love them, start with one last year and add three more this year, and they are lovely traps for snails 😏

@mikethegardener love hostas, keep trying to grow them but constant slug battle here

Mike, I would love a few Hostas, unfortunately not a great location with far to many snail for me even to try one😂😂 maybe one day 🤔

@lamaisonbleueoleron @inlove @katgreen I grow mine in pots with grit around. It does help lots, but not completely fool-proof. Blue Hostas more slug resistant too. 🐌🐌🐌

I've got a family of hedgehogs so rarely get damage.

You gotta love hostas foliage love watching them from when the tip become visable to full grown, but hate those pesky slugs an snails

Will do, not had slugs or snails for a couple of years.

I've got 8 pots of them but just 4 varieties not sure which ones I will be matching up on here when i look thru #tags 😁

They have beautiful foliage @mikethegardener Barnsdale gardens has beds dedicated to hostas , which looks great but of course totally bare later in year
