Help me identify this plant please. It's a delicate little thing that looks a little like a bottle brush but the leaves are smaller and burgundy #plantid
Hello Amanda @mindymolli Welcome to GTags It's a brilliant app!! Sorry I can't help with plantid but can suggest some plants for your garden. I've had my coastal garden on east coast of Scotland for a few years & inherited shrubs Azaleas, Hydrangeas, Pieris, Camellia. Also Japanese Anemone, Sea Hollies, Alstromeria, Iris etc etc I could go on and on!! Obviously a lot depends on weather/site/sun/shade/ wind /soil! Hope this helps 🤔Enjoy & Good luck 😃💕
I’m stumped on this one (great pun 😂) but the lovely @icedance might have an idea...she is awesome with figuring out plant names 😃 Yep and Hi by the way, you’ll love GT! 😃
Welcome to GT Amanda you’ll love it here and before you know it your garden will be soft and billowing 🌸💚 there’s so much help and inspiration on here. So Claudia no pressure then !? X I have to admit I’m a bit stumped too but the seed heads are ringing a tantalising bell 🛎 I’m taking it into work to brainstorm today so fingers crossed 🤞 have you seen this flower at all Amanda? @clipperty
Good morning Sam, no not yet. We only moved in in January and it was left in the back garden. I'm excited to find out what it is though. I thought it looked a bit bottle brushy...🤔😊 the leaves are quite tough and tiny and the seed heads are about 8mm across
Hi Amanda I have an id didn’t take long it’s a Leptosurmum not sure which variety.. the flowers may give a clue , the leaves are so red because it is a New Zealand plant and in cold weather it responds by going quite red google leptospurmum seed heads and see what you think 🤔 have a good day

Thank you for your advice. I just love flowers and I want it to be fit to bursting rather than hard and grey like it is. 😁👌🌺🐝
