My poor kale has had some trouble. The slugs around here are always kale-crazy, so I expected that and will be dealing with the slimy little brats in a few days. Then the floating row cover, which multiple master gardeners have said isn't too heavy to damage plants, restricted his upward growth significantly until I built a support system that keeps the cover aloft. This is only 2 days after I built the supports, but the top leaves have already straightened out.
