Gardening is like cooking. To improve, you need to be willing to make mistakes and experiment. Also, common names are garbage. Zone 9b, West Sac, CA.

It's been over a year since I rescued this fighter who'd been trampled on a roadside in Pacific Grove, CA. Dramatic, but not a drama queen. Repotted today, 29 Jan 2019.

The #Aloe-arborescens cutting bounced back, and I eventually planted it in my friends' backyard in Sacramento, CA. It hasn't been watered for a while, hence its current appearance. I gave it a good soak last night. You've been through a lot, so don't you dare die on me, buddy!

This broken, trampled piece of #AloeArborescens was on the ground and had sustained quite a bit of damage, but was still viable. Took it home to San Ramon, CA, for some TLC.
