Gardening is like cooking. To improve, you need to be willing to make mistakes and experiment. Also, common names are garbage. Zone 9b, West Sac, CA.

The intense Sacramento summer sunshine is most probably the reason a number of my #succulents, such as this #CrassulaFalcata (which, incidentally, hasn't flowered until now), are thriving. Quite a few of my plants weren't performing as well as they are now as opposed to when we lived in the milder San Francisco Bay Area. #succulent #CrassulaPerfoliataVar.Minor #airplaneplant #propellerplant #succulentflower #succulentsunday 21July2019

Crassula falcata, known by the common names airplane plant and propeller plant, is a succulent plant endemic to South Africa, from the Cape of Good Hope. In background is Portulacaria afra f. variegata (a.k.a. Rainbow Bush or Variegated Elephant Bush) a slow-growing succulent shrub that is native to eastern South Africa.
