To get this fountain shape, I prune any horizontal twigs about three feet (1m) up from the ground. I also remove any dead growth a few weeks before bloom time. A little maintenance each spring keeps everything under control 🧑🏻‍🌾

@emch I can detect it at 40-50 feet (12-15m), but the fragrance blends with a #rugosa #rose on the other side of the lot. A nice problem to have!
