This rose and “Dakota Sun” bloom reliably under a large tree without extra watering. “Sparkle and Shine” lasts till November in my Zone 5a garden. Highly recommended!

In a part-shade corner of my Zone 5 northern garden, ‘Sparkle and Shine’ lives up to its name.

Gotta love a cold-hardy, shade-tolerant rose that blooms into November!

I can’t say enough good things about ‘Sparkle & Shine.’ This shade-tolerant shrub rose lights up a dark corner between a garage and a tall tree. Having died to the ground in our northern winters, it springs back each year as vigorous as ever. Easy to grow, easy to care for, and blooms well into the autumn 🍂

This bloom is still dusted with cocoa shell from yesterday’s “mulch marathon”!
