Is this a ground cover, or does it vine? That is so super pretty! I love the dark green leaves, too. I wonder how this would do in a Florida summer.

@laneygarden The bloodroot in my garden doesn’t vine or spread much, so I wouldn’t call it a groundcover. It blooms in a clump early in spring every year. The flowers close at night and reopen in the morning. The stem is translucent, with red sap, like a vein ... hence the name #bloodroot
