10/11/17 hmm, my Haworthia in general aren’t looking great. Wonder if the mix is too lean for them...? 🤔
How much sunlight are they getting and is the soil too wet?
I think too wet .Looks like a lot of pearlite which holds a lot of water .Are those lower leaves squishy ?
@Soph1e they're in partial sunlight. They're in a gritty mix if pine bark fines, pumice and diatomite so don't think it's too wet. @Muzz67 nope, not squishy.
Try a mix of 50% peat free compost, 50% horticultural grit and if you can give it more light that will help. Not sure what the weather is doing in your part of the world but as it's getting colder here I'm making sure all my succs are in a really gritty, free draining mix. I have one lot of pups on the top shelf of the sunnier side of my greenhouse and another pot on the second shelf on the shadier side and the ones with more sunlight are definitely doing better.
Hmm interesting, I actually adapted this from "Al's gritty mix" which was floating around gardenwebs. It seems pretty free draining to me? Although what is in horticultural grit, I am curious.
It may just want more light ? If not possible then it is what it is.As long as mix is free draining and only water when completely dry it should be fine 😆
